Paint my skies with dull gray and bright orange
In their contrasts dancing new shapes to life
Let this canvas become the neverending story of the universe
The deep clouds have brought their storms
Both destruction and nourishment bring about change
For one must die to be reborn
I see the sun saying its goodbyes
The dark of night cloaking us
In peaceful rest at last
