Sun streaks peak through the blanket of clouds
Painting the sky with rainbows
There is no color like the smell of damp earth
We dance as the rain cools our sweat
Our feet splashing in puddles and pools
Warm from when the sun baked the ground
Let the rain wash away our tears and sins
Birthing life into the cracks of our broken world
That all my be anew
Birds sing, children laugh
Crickets and frogs rejoice
We have our lifeblood once more
